You may not have to.  It depends on the Union agreements you are working to.  On an ethical level, this is all about protecting the dignity of performers.  The question is why would you want to keep hold of NSS footage that is not used in the final edit?
The footage is intended and contracted to be part of a specific season.  If you do not use it that series, it should be destroyed.
Quotations are established by gaining a better understanding of the project and the predicted amount of nudity and\or simulated sex acts contained within.  You will complete our project information form that will help us provide costs for you to budget against.
The process of deleting footage from hard drives, pen drives, LTOs, etc is not a suitable method of destroying data. Much data that is simply deleted can be retrieved using free downloadable software. The term ‘destroyed’ indicates that the data is no longer retrievable, and this form of erasure should be in line with recognised standards.
That depends on the union agreements that you are working to and how they have defined it. PADSC will interpret those agreements and work within those parameters..
Nothing will be destroyed without your approval, but if we make a judgement and you refuse to allow the destruction to take place, we cannot provide a certifiable audit trail.
It is advisable that you engage with them as soon as possible.  The fact is, whether you use us or not, depending on the union agreements you are working to you may have to do it.
In most cases yes, but there are many occasions when events happen that were not expected or scripted – intended or not.
Good question.  This depends on how much materials there is and how many sources of data that need to be destroyed.  This process can take some time and can go beyond your delivery deadline so it’s important that you consider this from the beginning.
